Subscription Verification Error / In-App Purchases

Modified on Sun, 27 Nov, 2022 at 4:32 PM

Subscription Verification errors can be resolved by ensuring that a valid payment method is applied to your App Store account. Common case is that an old credit card (expiry date has lapsed) has not been updated. Another reason is that you may have MiScore installed on multiple Apple devices (eg: iPad and iPhone) - we suggested uninstalling MiScore from the device you are not using for scoring purposes.

Also It's not a requirement for In App purchases to be enabled to use MiScore however if you attempt to subscribe while the device is set for this restriction then you may receive a "Subscription Verification Error" pop up message or a pop up indicating 'In-App Purchases are Not Allowed"

Then this can only be resolved by ensuring that "In-App purchases" are allowed in the devices settings.

For Apple users - to enable In-App purchases, access the Settings App, select Screen Time / Content & Privacy restrictions / iTunes & App Store / In-App Purchases  - set to 'Allow'

If In-App purchases can not be allowed on a device/account then there is no bypassing the verification error and you will have to press Ok on each time it occurs.

If you are getting a message indicating that you are already subscribed but an error is still occurring then this could be because you have a partners store account linked to your device. You will need to have individual store accounts with either (Apple or Google Play) in order to pay for your subscription.
