Important Notice: MiScore 1 Retiring on 1 July 2026

Body:

Dear Members,

We would like to advise all members who currently use the original MiScore application that MiScore 1 will be officially retired on 1 July 2026.

To ensure continued access to digital scoring and competition services at our club, members who are still using MiScore 1 will need to upgrade to MiScore 2 before this date.

More than 300,000 golfers across Australia have already made the move to MiScore 2, which delivers a significantly enhanced experience and continues to receive regular feature updates and improvements from the MiClub development team.

The new version requires no additional charge and is a simple update via either the App Store or Google Play Store.

Why Upgrade to MiScore 2?

MiScore 2 has been completely redesigned to provide a faster, more intuitive and feature-rich experience for golfers.

Key benefits include:

  • Modern scoring interface
  • Enhanced GPS course maps
  • Front, Middle and Back green distances
  • Advanced performance statistics and player insights
  • Live leaderboards and competition results
  • Social scoring with friends
  • Private competitions
  • SideMatch functionality
  • Score history and performance tracking
  • Pace of play tools
  • Apple Watch and Android Watch support
  • Improved navigation and personalised dashboard experience

MiClub continues to invest heavily in the platform, with ongoing enhancements designed to improve the experience for both golfers and clubs.

Device Requirements

To use MiScore 2, your device must meet the following minimum operating system requirements:

Apple iPhone & iPad

  • iOS 15.1 or later

Android Devices

  • Android 13 or later

If your device does not meet these requirements, you may need to update your operating system or consider upgrading your device.

What Happens After 1 July 2026?

Following the retirement of MiScore 1:

  • The original MiScore app will no longer be supported.

  • Members using MiScore 1 may be unable to access digital scoring services.

  • All future updates and new features will be delivered exclusively through MiScore 2.

  • Club support for MiScore will be focused on the current MiScore 2 platform.

How to Upgrade

Upgrading is quick and easy:

  • Open the Apple App Store or Google Play Store on your device.
  • Search for MiScore.
  • Download or update to the latest version of MiScore 2.
  • Log in using your existing MiScore account details.

Many devices will update automatically if automatic app updates are enabled. However, we encourage members to check their device and ensure they are running the latest version well before 1 July 2026.

Need Assistance?

If you require assistance updating your device or installing MiScore 2, please contact the club office and our team will be happy to help.

We encourage all members still using MiScore 1 to upgrade as soon as possible to ensure uninterrupted access to scoring, competitions and the many new features available in MiScore 2.

Thank you for your cooperation and continued support.
