A great tool to assist clubs with pace of play and round times. Members will view their Average Round TIme when selecting Competition Score and registering or are registered in a competition.
A player selects Competiton Score their Average Round Time and Ranking will display with a customised message.
The Average Round Time parameters and calculation:
- Finds all rounds played
- on that Day of Week
- on that Time of Day in Timesheet ie AM or PM or All Day
- on that course
- Played a minimim number of rounds (configurable)
- Within the previous months (configurable)
- Start time is booked Tee Time for each round
- End Time is MiScore App submission time for each round
Average of the (sum of (End Time - Start Time) for Rounds played in previous xx months) or
AVG(SUM(End Time - Start Time))
What's Displayed to a Member
Time - Average Round Time
Rank - Average Round Time is comparison to all other members that have played minumum rounds in specified period on same course and same time of day
Reminder - Configurable on club site
Continue - Go to scoring
Importantly
- Ensure players start their round at booked tee time
- Players should submit scores as as soon as possible after round is complete
- There are several factors that can determine a round time ie Course Conditions, Weather, Type of Competition Scoring, Pin and Tee Locations etc
- When course renovations are in play there may be many different versions of the course
- For 27 and 36 hole courses that are rotated for competition play extend the month selection
